Seeking Proposals for joint R&D projects
between Japan and seven countries from the EUREKA network
This website is a virtual Marketplace to discuss project opportunities and facilitate introductions between organisations from Japan and the seven countries from the EUREKA Network participating in this call. It is an open 1:1 networking platform. Meetings among participants can be scheduled as a video call at any time until the end of 2024.
Within the Globalstars initiative of EUREKA, based on mutual consent Japan, Austria, Canada, Finland, France, the Netherlands, Singapore, and the United Kingdom are launching a common call. Participants from Japan and the respective EUREKA member countries are invited to submit joint project proposals in the research and development of innovative products and applications with a strong market potential.
Your project consortium must include a small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) based in Japan and a minimum of one other EUREKA country listed in this call.
Scope
The call for proposals will be an open call inviting R&D projects from any sector area except technologies associated with nuclear power and drug discovery. For example (but not limited to):
- Quantum
- Artificial Intelligence
- Robotics
- Semiconductors
- Electronics
- Energy and environment
- Biotechnology
- New materials
- Medical devices
- Aerospace
- Mining and other industrial technologies
Project partners are strongly advised, prior to submitting the application, to contact their National Contact Points in order to check the eligibility of their project.
Time Schedule
- Virtual Marketplace opens: 02 September 2024
- EUREKA call for projects opens: 09 September 2024
- National application deadline (exact timings may vary): 04 December 2024
- EUREKA application deadline (date of receipt): 04 December 2024 at 11:59 am Brussels time
- Virtual Marketplace closes: 31 December 2024
